Mediation in India
Law, Process, Practice and Court-Annexed Mediation
📅 21st November – 27th November 2026 | ⏰ 08:00 PM – 09:00 PM IST Daily
Separate Live Batches for English & Hindi MediumAbout the Certificate Course
Mediation has emerged as an important mechanism for resolving disputes outside the traditional adversarial process of litigation. It provides parties with an opportunity to communicate, understand their respective interests, and explore mutually acceptable solutions with the assistance of a neutral third person—the mediator.
The legal framework governing mediation in India has undergone significant development, particularly with the landmark enactment of the Mediation Act, 2023. Courts have also increasingly encouraged mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in appropriate civil, commercial, and matrimonial cases.
This one-week certificate course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive introduction to the concept, law, and practice of mediation in India. The course uniquely combines in-depth legal analysis with practical exercises, case studies, and simulated mock mediation sessions.
Motto: Learn the law. Understand the process. Practise the skills.
